Blinking Smart Stop Standard Rear End Visual Aid Module: A fully weatherized compact State-of-the-Art solid-state electronic module converts your ordinary brake light into an attention getting visual aid alerting device when you are braking. With the Smart Stop installed, when you apply your brakes, it causes your brake light to automatically emit a visual alerting signal by flashing the light approximately 6 times before entering the steady-state on red light condition.

   Installation instructions - difficulty rating 2 out of 10

Locate access to the third brake light wires. The easiest access to them is from where you change the existing bulb.

Cut the positive (+) side wire between where you attached the Red and Blue wires from the Smart Stop.

Place a “ Connector" in the  positive (+) side wire going to the third brake light, and insert the Red wire. crimp using the pliers.

Place a “ Connector" in the same positive (+) side wire going to the third brake light but between where you attached the Red wire and light.

Insert the Blue wire and  crimp using the pliers. as before.

Place a “ Connector" connector in the negative (-) side wire (any chassis ground) and insert the black wire crimp using the pliers. as before.

Fit the Smart Stop inside somewhere away from areas of high temperature, moisture and water leakage...
